We just got a note from Jill Gardner (BuffyRannoch on the Racing Club forums) saying that the track is completely waterlogged, so there’ll be no racing this Sunday (12th Oct). I have to say I’m not surprised – when I took Beanie to the park this morning I was very glad I had my wellies and waterproofs on!

Beanie’s practice track (the park!) was definately water-logged today. There are quite a few skid marks around the hill! and a lot of muddy pups.
We were particularly amused at Beanie barking at the foam build-up in an eddy in the burn at the bottom of the hill.

A shame, but hardly unexpected! We’ve had torrential rain, clear blue skies and a hail storm all in the space of a few hours. Crazy weather!
